TRAKO 2019: Strengthening customer relationships in central and eastern Europe

From 24 to 27 September, one of the largest trade fairs in Europe for rail transport technology took place once again in Danzig. All the most important market participants in the rail industry from central and eastern Europe meet at TRAKO. TRAKO is also one of the most important foreign trade fairs for DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung.

The trade fair was spread out over 30,000 m² of exhibition space and 1,000 m of exhibition tracks, with seven halls. DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung shared a stand with DB Cargo Polska, Arriva Polska and DB Systemtechnik in the middle of Hall A in the Amberexpo Exhibition & Convention Centre. It occupied one of the largest spaces at the 150 m² joint stand and was represented in particular with the topics of HELMS locomotives, Tag 4 Trace and component reconditioning.

DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung's attendance at TRAKO was very successful. "We had many profitable discussions, made new contacts and were also able to conclude a contract with DB Cargo Hungária during the trade fair. We used the trade fair as a communication platform with customers and business partners from the central and eastern European rail industry and are looking forward to successfully continuing our customer relationships, some of which have already lasted several years," says Theresia Barchi, Director Sales Rail Freight Transport and Other Traffic, in summary.
