    Bettina Stein has been Managing Director Finance & Controlling at DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung since 1 July 2026.

    The Finance & Controlling division is responsible for ensuring sound, transparent and reliable financial and risk management.

    As the company’s CFO, Bettina Stein also sees herself as a sparring partner within the management team, working to effectively drive the company’s growth and ensure sustainable value creation through cross-functional strategic leadership. 

    To this end, the Finance department develops long-term financial and investment strategies, implements a consistent management system alongside legally compliant operational financial management, and provides effective performance management tools.

    From May 2024 to June 2026, Bettina Stein was Head of maintenance depot Controlling at DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung. Prior to that, she had been Regional Commercial Manager for the South and South-East at DB Engineering & Consulting since September 2020 and had worked for many years in various roles at DB Cargo Eurasia, formerly Trans-Eurasia Logistics.
