Nicole Friedrich

Nicole Friedrich took over the position of Chairwoman of the Management Board of DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung on 1 March 2022.

She is responsible for the cross-business functions and customer relations. In this context, Business Development and Communications, capacity management, IT, the new construction of the Cottbus maintenance depot and Sales at DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung are assigned to her.

Nicole Friedrich joined the DB Group in 1997, initially in the Business Division maintenance depot in Krefeld. In 2001 she took over the management of the Krefeld maintenance depot and later also the key account function for electric multiple units. After moving to DB Netz AG, she headed the Maintenance department, which is responsible for the further development and optimisation of maintenance procedures and maintenance processes. In 2010, she became Head of Production at DB Netz AG and was responsible for railway operations and infrastructure in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate. Most recently, as Head of Procurement, she was responsible for infrastructure purchasing in the Group.
